2.75 inch Redhawk .357

Took My New To Me Redhawk Out To The Range With So/So Results. I Was Having Trouble Grouping Shooting To The Left And Low Factory .38 And .357 Ammo Used Any Help Would Be Great.It Was My First Time Shooting A Short Barrel Revolver

How far away are the targets?
Are you using a bench rest?
Did someone else shoot it with same results?

Low and to the left may mean a righty is pushing the trigger a bit.
I'm a lefty and tend to shoot low and right "free hand" or when I'm lazy, in a hurry or just otherwise not really focused.
Try shooting off sand bags or a rest of some sort.

20 feet is good.

Remember you have a really really short site picture (if that's the proper term) with a 2.75 inch barrel.

It may be your sight picture. You may have to focus on the front sight being more center in the rear sights notch. Or adjust the sights to your shooting habits. I too have the same problem with shorts barrels. My SRH Alaskan .44 hits low and to the left at 30 feet. But with My 4.2 inch Redhawk .44 I can keep a good group. I installed 3 dot nights sights on both so they have the same picture.

On the 4.2 inch barrel I used the Metrolight set also used on the GP100. It has the quick change front sight.
On the Alaskan I used the same rear sight. Since it is a pinned on sight, on the front I used the bog dot from XS sights. I used the one for the 480 Alaskan. It stated in the description that is was NOT for the 44Mag. There was not one available for the 44. I bought it any way and although it fit the barrel it was .125 inch too tall. It worked but I had to raise the rear sight all the way up. So I clamped it into my Milling machine and machined it down .125. It works well and I'm very happy with it. I got everything from Midway USA.
