I prefer the Vickers books Vol 1 & 2.....but still pricey...not as pricey as above though.

Somehow I only have one 1911 book? Yet it seems that I have at least a half dozen 1911's at all times.

Sweeny's book was ok, but had a few errors. Like many maybe. But so much info & books on the subject I could never justify the price on Sweeny's. Wondering how it could command such a price when it's not even on the best ten list of 1911 books.
