Yes, I did not have it seated as you mention to start with and discovered that it needs to be in that "pocket" on the hammer. Had a devil of a time getting that sear/trigger/pin installed and upon installing hammer and associated spring, the hammer will not cock. I only see one way for the sear/trigger to be installed but it appears that the hammer is catching on something preventing it from being cocked??
This is a Volkhartsen trigger unit and appears to be of quality construction, but wondering if I did correctly put the sear/trigger in correctly. As you know there is a small spring in the sear/trigger mechanism and noticed that it can be depressed and "clicks" when separated and perhaps this is the area I am messing up in??
