rugerjunkie is correct and extended 10/22 magazine releases are available in numerous configurations from many sources like Midway, Kidd, Volquartsen, TandemKross, Tactical Innovation and many others I've missed. They are priced from cheap to absurdly expensive. Here is Midway's web site page of the ones they offer:

Changing the factory release for any of these extended versions only requires removing the trigger group and pushing out one pin to free the old release and reversing the process to install the new one. There are a bunch of Youtube videos showing how it's done.
