10/22 bolt polishing.. pics

Ever since I bought the gun there had been circular gouges in the bolt face from manufacturing. so I had some free time saturday and decided to polish it. I used the flat end of a chizel and clamped it in a vice. I first used 400 grit then 600,1000,1500, and last I used mag aluminum polish with 2000 grit, then just polished a few times with a cloth. I also installed a "Tuffer Buffer" bolt buffer while I had it apart.

I think it came out sweet. The circular pattern is interesting on the before. You did a great job. Now if I could just find the time....
