16.5" short enough? either of these should work, right?

16.5 or 16.25 is as short as you are going to be able to go with a 10/22 unless you pay off uncle sam...
I like Green Mountains myself.
If you don't mind loosing the front sight you can pay a good gun smith 100-150 to cut a 18" factory barrel down.
