His harness racing horses so well thought of that the seeman from one stud became marital property in his divorce.

I think he's a hoot. Over 80 YO & had a horse flip out on him, turned the surry over & dumped his old ass in the dirt. They uprighted the surry, deemed it OK & he won the next heat. The man has drive, or maybe just no fear? or maybe just no damn sense? He's still a hoot.
 
Some of y'all don't get him... he makes fun of himself.
I need to find the scene from Boston Legal where the young black guy tries to rob him, just too damn funny.


Also, some of you will really like this... during one episode a number of politically powerful business owners were trying to get Denny Crane to run for president... he declined and told them to try and see if they could get Donald Trump.
 
I wrote of his harness racing crash & called the buggy a surry, twice thinking then it didn't sound right. This AM I said to self I know that wasn't correct so had to look it up. A surrey with an E is a 4 seater buggy.
The little harness racing cart is a Sulky. No big thing but living where I do things like that are usually known.

Last I heard Shat lives in Versailles Ky., a stone throw from Lexington, huge in the horsey thing.
 
Met him on a flight back from HKG. He, Terry Bradshaw and a comedian whose name I can’t remember were doing something media related in Asia and we were operating the flight. Nice enough person.
