Artemis II launch

Yeah, it costs a lot of money, but they're not just shooting that money into space. That money is still here, on Earth, employing thousands upon thousands of hard-working people in well-paying jobs. And that's not just people directly connected to the actual program. It ranges from people mining the metals that go into making the rocket to the caterers who provide food for the mission control center, and many other ancillary jobs not actually part of the program. Personally, I'd rather see it go towards something like this than to give it away to deadbeats and illegals to do nothing.
There's other options than what you presented there.

a neighbor of mine who has been tracking Artemis II swears that he has been hearing loud music coming from the area of Artemis II's position for the last couple hours, hmmm..... 🤔

If you mean other options other than illegals and deadbeats, I agree, but usually when someone says they "wasted" all that money, they usually connect it to "feeding people" or some other type of giveaway program.

BTW - I hear they saw the backside of the moon...(picture attached)...

There's a book, Lucifer's Hammer where a combined US Russian space mission has a female Russian on board. A comment made was that the US hadn't sent a woman to space because NASA hadn't figured out the bathroom problem for women.

Perhaps someone at NASA read the book and female astronauts are specially trained in outer space toilet repairs.
