New LCP II using HV ammo slide locks back before mag is empty...is this a common problem when gun is new and not broken in?

cleaned the chamber well and loaded 10 rounds with 4.4gr of hp38, ran flawlessly with the 124 berry bullets.. thanx for the responses

the gun is not new... i bought it new in 2011 and probably has 500 rds thru it...thanx for the Berrys info, I will check that out.

I am new to reloading...i have a ruger sr9c that i have loaded 115gr hp using 4.9gr of hp-38 powder, they were fine. I now am trying to load some 124 grain rn berrys bullets using the hp-38 and using hodgdons max load of 4.4 grains my sr9c wont cycle enough to eject empty. what am I doing wrong?

my sr9c has been back to ruger twice for light primer strikes. the first time they replaced the striker assembly and had light strikes again within 25 rounds. sent back again and they replaced striker assbly again, trigger bar reset and both 10 and 17 rnd magazines. tried again today and after...

Got a new Mini in Nov of 2012 (582 series) with the rear sight centered it would shoot 4 to 5 inches to the left at about 30 yds. I had to adjust the rear sight all the way to the right to get it to zero. Finally got around to contacting Ruger cust service, they emailed me a UPS shipping label...

Got the Rem 870 costs a little more than the Mossberg but looks a little better. Brand new Mossberg had a rattling pump, the Remington was solid. Thanx for all the input

Looking to buy a 12 Ga pump shotgun for home defense/possible turkey hunting. Prefer US made looking at Remington 870 or Mossberg 500. Any suggestions or other recommendations. thanx Rich

I have a Bersa Thunder 380, love the looks and feel of the weapon but its been back twice for repair for .a disconnector/spring problem. I just remove grip and pop back into place myself now but not reliable for carry

I have a Ruger paddle holster (made by fobus) I am left handed and is easy to put on and take off. Wear about 8 o'clock.

I will have to put quite a few rounds downrange without any probs before I feel comfortable carrying it. I have a SP101 357 that has been flawless however I am looking for a LH pancake holster for it. Haven't been able to find anything reasonable. I like Fobus but they don't make a LH for it. Rich

cruzerlou, you may be right, but don't they have to indicate on the box that they are factory reloads? I don't have a problem with reloads and the price was right. If they go bang then it's a non-issue thanx
