What should I pay for a 22/45 threaded barrel?

please EXCUSE (& I'm sure that YOU know this - but others may not...) MKII (22/45) Mags are NOT operable in the MKIII! The MKIII has a "Mag Disconnect Interlock" which the MkII mags will not engage! StaySafe, MG

What should I pay for a 22/45 threaded barrel?

I just paid $322 (including shipping + NO TAX) from Buds (Plus another $26.20 to my FFL Buddy for the transfer). I got the PR version (as I have several "dot" sights). StaySafe, MG

Just Got my FIFTH Ruger Today....

just got the plastic grips, will probably replace it with a rubber 'combat' grip (w/ finger grouves) as I intent to put a "brick-a-week" through it once I'm back in MT.

    Mark II/III vs. 22/45 vs. ???

My next purchase might be a .22LR Traget Pistol. But since it would only be a target pistol, I don't want to put a who lot of $'s into it. (I have a .22LR / .22WRM revolver for a 'Plinker"). I shot a half-a-box through a 22/45 a couple weeks ago... I found the trigger to be very light (a lot...

Ruger p95 loose safety / decock - switch

Ahhh define loose! No, serriously, can you describe the issue a bit more? Mine is not "loose" but it freely moves between safe and arm with just thumb pressure.

Chrome slide on an LCP - How much is it worth ?

Well there's Florida and then there's Florida :?: I had my blued slide LCP in Florida (N. Central - Gainesville) for 5 months (Oct - Feb) carried it quite frequently (in a pocket holster) and it showed no signs of wear (even though I know I COULD have done a much better job of taking care of it...

Chrome slide on an LCP - How much is it worth ?

I would think that how much it would be "worth to YOU" would depend on how, when and where (climate wise) you intend to carry.

    new to pistoles

You could go that way (smith), and perhaps you could find one that would spend some time and "train you" how to preform the task correctly. Otherwise you can find a pistol that is not as 'sensitive' as the SR9c. I assume (by the two that you mentioned) you are looking to CCW?

recommendations for carry pistol and caliber?

I carry an LCP. As a Carry Piece it is a fine pistol (imho) ESPECIALLY in the hot & Sticky months (when I'm in Florida). But it is NOT a target pistol, the sites suck, a very small grip, it kicks a bit (because of the light weight). and IMHO the .380 Auto round is on the hairy edge of being...

    P95 vs FNH FNP-9

Sir, "Way Back When" I carried a 1911A1 in three different theaters. It defended My life in two (of those) and my families in one. While My P95 is completely different, it instills the same level of "security" (in me) that my 1911A1 did. StaySafe, MG

    P95 vs FNH FNP-9

While it true that you did not "SLAM" the P95, you certainly DID slam someone that gave a very favorable comment about it. SLAMED to the point of ACCUSING them of being a Ruger Employee or a Ruger Stockholder, and otherwise questioning their credibility. Like I said sir, I AM sorry that you...

    P95 vs FNH FNP-9

So 3ld.. Ya know sir, IF you are having a problem with your SR9, “I’m really sorry for you”. What ECXACTLY IS the Problem? What have you done to resolve it? Have you worked with Ruger? Can they NOT solve the problem? Have they been unresponsive to you? You state “Ruger's last 3 model...

    p95 help!

I think buckshotshorty has it right. After you fire soft lead, make sure to run a .38/.357.9mm brass brush down the bore several times, then a good solvent. Much like a .22, soft lead can leave build-up in the groves. StaySafe, MG
