WT, did they give you any idea of what could have caused it?

Too many years of sun likely caused the skin cancer on my hands and face. Add to this a family history and exposure to things like asbestos, TCE, and chlorobromomethane has my cancer doc watching me like a hawk.

She says except for the sun exposure there isn't much they can do about the other exposures. But, the key is to find it early and kill it.

It's the same strain of cancer from my prostate. You and I have had the same chemical exposures through the years from doing the same kind of work.
I'm just glad that it isn't asbestos or any other kind of cancer.

Update on my surgery.... I went to the cancer center on Tuesday and found out that my PSA is still elevated more than they would like it to be. It has come down to a .08 but there is still cancer floating around somewhere that is too small to find with the scans.
They wanted me to go on IV chemo but I refused because it damn near killed me in 2017. I'm going on a hormone injection every 3 months and a low dose oral chemo pill twice a day.
It wasn't the news I had hoped for but I will deal with it. I'm not going to let it ruin my life. I'm going back to work and am going to make the best of it.

Carl not what I wanted to hear. BUT......I know you pretty damn well...whatever is still floating around in you should be damn scared of the fight in you and what you will give, and win.

Take it down. Win.

I'm not going to let it win. I'm going to fight it to a draw. Like I said before, it can't hurt me, it may kill me but I won't let it hurt me.
