My SP101 is spot on horizontally but shoots low with most loads. I just run 180gr .357s and they hit POA/POI.

You could also check the local hardware store. When I needed a locator pin for my SP101 I went to the hardware store and found some sort of internally threaded sleeve that was the same diameter and length and it works great. Cost like 35 cents and the store is 3 miles from my house. :D

It all depends on your hands. Personally I find the Hogues less comfortable than the stock or the Trausch grips. Just try the different options, there aren't very many and you can pick them up one at a time for $15 and turn them around to get money for the next until you find the perfect fit.

If you wanted to spend enough money you could get magazines for magnum calibers too. Buy a Coonan mag for .357/.38s and an Automag or Desert Eagle mag for .44s.

Yeah, I'd say that if you want the lasergrips get those. Past that good holsters and some ammo are required and maybe some custom adjustable sights if you're into that. For spending more, my long term plan includes a black powder chamfer and some nice engraving. But I don't think you'll fit that...
