Wow, I bought a product that is all made in the USA

Mesa Boogie Rectoverb 25 watt combo guitar amp. Sweet sounding and very fun amp. Chassis built in Petaluma California and Eminence speaker built in Kentucky.
Appears to be a very high quality build, has cool features and sounds really good with my Fender Telecaster. Runs EL_84 tubes in the power section and a rack of 12AX7 for all the gain stages and onboard tube reverb with spring reverb tank that just shimmers.

Last twenty or so amps, even Fender were made overseas. Most Fender amps are built in Ensenada Mexico now and the last three I tried all had bad QC issues

Chassis may be built here, but it's likely the parts a from China. Some US companies are getting cute with their labeling. One that used to be US made now says "Made in China from US designs". Another says "Assembled in America". Read the fine print and it says "from foreign materials". Or my favorite, "All US materials" and in really, really fine print "Assembled in China".

So much for any sort of truth in labeling.

I went to buy a pair of Redwing boots last year and made the mistake of telling the local sales person I wanted hiking boots and he showed me some kind of molded plastic rubber things made in China and I had to say NO! that's not what I meant.... seems what I wanted was leather 'work' boots.... made in America... which they still sell and make here even though they have to clarify that some of the materials may have come from somewhere else.

Yea, I buy Redwings for work and ran in to that a few years back. Now my one of my other favorite book makers Keen, has only a very few models made in the US. And while I have delved into it the materials are likely imported.

Are the tubes made in USA? I think the ones in by Fender Blues Jr are made in Russia.

Are the tubes made in USA? I think the ones in by Fender Blues Jr are made in Russia.

No tubes are made in the USA anymore.... As much as I love tubes, they aren't environmentaly friendly to make.

Heck, the last few amps I've owned, I built and you just can't get those parts made in the USA.... Except for the iron.

Some time ago I watched a program on some brand of tennis shoes that were "100% American made"...as they got further into the tour and conversation it was noted that almost all the machinery was Chinese..

stock MESA tube sets are Russian Sovtek that Mesa hand test and match for sets

If Rugers or any other firearm is made in china or any other crap hole country is when I stop buying guns. Purdy shotguns are an exception however.

There are quite a few things that are still American Made.... A few things that I commonly have:

Overalls - Round House
Pocket Knife - Case, Queen, Great Eastern Cutlery
Socks - Wigwam
Boots - Thorogood, Justin, Danner, Matterhorn
Jeans - Buddy's

Not everything I get is made in the USA, but I try to support USA made products. Some are quite reasonable in price.

Just picked up a new Stormy Krohmer cap for my daughter. Included in the box was a card that said "Thanks for Saving American Jobs."
The Stormy Krohmer is hand sewed here in the USA. Not cheap to purchase, but quality that lasts for a long, long time never is.

I could have cried when I started seeing Carhart labels without made in USA on them. How about Carolina Boots ? Still here ?

I also bought something made in the USA, a Ruger CDR LWT. However the magazines were made in Italy and the soft case was made in China. Just can't win these days.
