Are all Rugers being made this year coming with that marking, or just a few. I’d only seen the ugly plastic anniversary guns Ruger sent the email about but a friend just sent me this.

I would hope all would have that but haven’t heard. I want one of the 16” 358 Win M77s and that would give me more incentive to go find one if it had that marking.

Ok i thought the 250th 10/22 had that ugly synthetic stock on it. Sorry bout that.

My avatar approves of these markings.

Ruger is crazy if they're not putting the Liberty marking on their higher-end guns this year, like the Red Labels, the Hawkeye rifles, the Redhawks, etc. These are the guns that will be passed down as heirlooms and for whom the Liberty markings are significant, not the plastic pistols and the Wranglers.

The guns they announced these marking on were a very odd decision in my book.

Although if I were Ruger, I'd be marking every gun that rolled off the line this year, but barring that I'm starting markings with the higher end guns.

It’s easy to fix. I outsmarted Ruger. I went to Harbor freight and bought an electronic pencil engraver. Now I can put that on all of mine whether they choose to or not.
