It seems the Atlanta Falcons' star rookie linebacker James Pearce Jr. will be spending his Super Bowl Sunday in the hoosegow after a spectacular personal meltdown and crashout.

As in: abusing his girlfriend; trying to run her off the road with his Lamborghini; trying to hit at least one of the arresting officers with said Lambo, and then picking a fight with what looks like every on-duty cop in town.

Video of the resulting dogpile below, which really should have "Yakety Sax" for the soundtrack.

"Lucky to be alive" after trying to run over a cop? Gee, ya think? Ask that idiot ICE-protesting Karen in Minneapolis Rebecca Good about that. You'll need a Ouija board to get her opinion.

And I'm sure after the crapstorm the Left raised over the (justifiable, IMO) shooting of a deranged white Karen, I'm sure the last thing the Doral cops wanted was to shoot a black celebrity, regardless of circumstances. Meanwhile, it looks like the Falcons wasted a number one draft pick.

If I remember correctly, the NFL's policy for domestic violence is "YOUR FIRED!"

As for the cop not shooting a person driving at them, after the Minneapolis shooing the Dade County cops were told "Get hit and killed!! Do not shoot the person!!" As for Yaworski's, yes, a police department will take more heat for shooting a person of color (aka the cop is racist) than a white person. If an officer of color shoots a white person, nothing much is said but if a white cop shoots a person of color, even in this situation, every media outlet in the country will cry RACISM!

My friend used to have technique that worked wonderfully. Grab hold of the suspects ankle and twist like crazy. 2 things happen: The pain is unbearable, and the suspect cant kick, walk or run... If he continues to fight: keep twisting- pretty soon he'll get tired of fighting and quit.

happens all too often when some folks just do NOT want to be arrested OR they are on any one of many "drugs" that make them almost superhuman ( yes HIGH....)
and even a shot to the head may not stop them either
......learned of this from Vietnam vets (Tet offensive) and cops during the Cleveland riots back in the 1960's:(

Disturbing allegations emerge in Falcons rookie's arrest in Florida

Pearce was arrested outside of Miami last week and is facing several felony charges, including two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, aggravated stalking, and fleeing or eluding police. Pearce was involved in a domestic dispute with his WNBA girlfriend, Doral police said.

Pearce allegedly crashed his vehicle into another car being driven by his girlfriend and struck a police officer while he tried to flee law enforcement, ESPN reported, citing a criminal complaint from the Miami-Dade County state attorney’s office.

The alleged victim told police that she noticed Pearce was following her in a white luxury vehicle and when she stopped at a red light, the NFL player tried to open her vehicle. The victim said she started to drive toward the Doral Police Department, while Pearce allegedly followed her. As she got closer to the station, she said Pearce cut her off and collided with her head on.

Doral police officers responded to the scene, according to ESPN. An officer reportedly pulled a gun on Pearce to try to force him to get on the ground and end the incident, but he allegedly got back into his car and drove away. He allegedly struck an officer as he drove away.

Pearce later crashed his vehicle and was accused of resisting arrest.

I once had a friend who was a Long Island Cop. He was a white guy, but he proudly showed his membership card for the NAACP. Just in case.

I hate college and professional sports. The participants are so "entitled" and the US population should bow down and worship them. I used to hate March because of the "madness". My desk was in the vicinity of two 'worshipers", I had to listen to the endless babble throughout March.
