Would this bullet with a gc be ok for my 336?

Ok all I want is to find a decent bullet ,,lead,, to shoot in my 336 marlin. I guess I can learn how to do gc,s
And lube. Never done either one. I just don't want a bunch of leading but would like a higher velocity than 1300 to 1400. Guess I could just reload jacketed bullets. I may never hunt with it except coyotes MAYBE Thanks
