Back in the day, 80's early 90's, Wolf Publishing put out reprints of a number of old books on firearms, hunting etc. All nicely done, leather trimmed, gold trim on pages etc. I have a number of them, all numbered "284". Is there a market for these? As I recall, I paid around $75 for each book.

The value of old books depends on several factors. How authoritative are the books, is the author well known in his field, and how rare are the volumes?

Nice binding and quality paper, extra touches, won't mean much if the author just publishes heresay articles without experience or documentation of his facts.

Sixguns by Keith by Elmer Keith would bring a greater premium than say, Handguns I've Known by Barack Obama not so much so.

They are definitely worth money. They were a far better lower numbers published series than the NRAs ongoing firearms classics series. I have one that is Phil Sharpes handloading book. Unfortunately in my experience on e-bay they are in the $40 range. If you search Wolfe publishing on ebay you will always find a few. If you are selling I might be interested in select ones. I have an extensive gun book collection so I have some holes to fill.
