So, married a bunch'a yrs, mostly good. A tip for you all in the same boat. Wife likes to make lists, household chores, shopping,etc.. I have found it beneficial to add to these notes. In between the need detergent/peas/corn, I'll insert..molest husband, and other more graphic suggestions. Its fun and rewarding. The first time was funny though, she got home from the grocery store still flustered and flushed, yup, I did my job. Seems when she got to my line item, while in check-out line, she stalled out, looked confused, and the check out gal and woman in line behind decided to help her read her notes.. Wish that was on video.! Hey, we are all in this together, to quote Red Green.

That's funny right there but good advice. Been married 27 yrs, still have to remember to try and surprise her with flowers or a note once in a while.
It's the little things like that that keep the fun in the marriage.

Kinda.... no really off topic but I need to know. Is there a roundabout age when females loose their interest in lovemaking?
I am serious. I realize each is different but anyone know the average age?
When do they just tolerate us?
My wife had her internal female parts removed 23 years ago, due to a family history of cancer and went on hormones after a very risky and difficult delivery. I told the Doctor..... just leave me the box it came with.
Really funny then, not funny at all now :( .

Welllllllllllllllllllllllllllll Wifie had her parts removed 20-25 years ago. Didn't slow down a thing. We are 72.

LISTS ??? How the Hades am I going to remember all the "stuff" Ashley wants along with the dog food, cat treats and hamburger without a list? I ALSO mark where to buy what to get the cheapest prices (Sometimes Publix offers a lower price regularly on an item and their MEATS are FAR superior to Walmarts.)

My maternal grandmother was a nurse, and had multiple lists. What to do today, grocery list, when to medicate dog etc. My mother, a nurse, made lists. I, a nurse, make lists also. That being said, neither of my 2 wives utilized lists ( they were democrats). :P
gramps

My wife makes lists for the store and sometimes asks me to do the shopping. I'm fine with that as I usually rip the list in half and just get the top few items and a few things I want, like diet coke and peanuts.

She hasn't been asking me to do the shopping much lately, I wonder why? :D

They just approved the "little pink pill". Slip it in her oatmeal.

We were at a gathering a few weeks ago and my wife was telling a story where I had done something that turned out to be a good thing, but at that point in the story sounded evil. When she got to that part of the story the three couples all stopped and stared at me. I simply shrugged and said with a dirty grin.."I was a bad boy,... and I should be punished!" The inflection and timing is crucial in delivering the line. The three guys got it immediately and broke out laughing. I got "the squinty look" from the three ladies.

Volshooter, I don't think there's a set age. I've heard some lose their interest right after the ink dries on the apllication for a joint checking account..

I think it's just me. I realize that this old fly has bee has been buzzing abound her for 38 years. I need to give the wings a rest  . Need to act me age and slow down.
Me, no list no get. When the kids were small I had to write down how everyone wanted their meal before I hit the drive through. I log everything I do, to help me remember what I done that day. For the next days tasks I make a list, study logistics and have a clear plan of attack before leaving the house.
I do all the shopping for rations. Wife can turn a 8 minute shopping stop into a hour long nightmare. I refuse to go clothes shopping with her, hours....
Why do the stores not have a "lost/still waiting area" in their places for men????
At least Wally world has a couple of benches filled with hollow eyed men waiting on the ole lady.

SO !!! You is one of them old vacant eyed men with the beer bellies setting there looking like lost children !!

No actually I am the guy that waits at a vantage point and creeps the other shoppers out. I was taught when lost stay put. Happened at Wall world today. I spent 30 minutes in one spot eyeballing potential threats, good looking females, freakish folks and waiting on wife to come get me.
Lot of folks at Wally world to look at. Can be fun.
Hollow eyes, hell no I see everything.
