Winchester 1200?

I have a Winchester model 1200. The frame, holding the bolt and trigger assy, is not steel so it can't be reblued. Wondering what can be used to 'reblue' it back to somewhere near original? Don't want to spend a fortune since the gun is only worth under $400.00 in great condition.

Could strip it and anodize it at home. Most aluminum machine shops could do it as well, but they probably don't want to deal with the 'gun' aspect.
