Well, after much research and discussion the wife and I headed off to our friendly neighborhood gun dealer to examine some concealed carry weapons first hand. Of course I have perused at least a hundred articles, reviews and videos of various choices in the concealed carry category. There are many fine choices including the venerable wheel gun. I want her to take her CHL course with an auto so she won't be Limited to carrying a wheel gun.
The owner of the shop placed the LC9 in her hot little hands and she fell in love immediately even after I explained that it will be a little peppy on recoil. My wife is no shrinking violet and snarled at me appropriately when I mentioned the recoil factor. Making a long story short, we took it home and are presently waiting for our pasture to dry off where we can get in and let her shoot it. I already have a Ruger MKII 2 which is a great little .22 so I know we are going to love this LC9. 😜

Congrats! Good choice.

Think I'd avoid telling her again about the recoil thingy ...... just sayin'.

Welcome to the Forum. Make sure to log her on here and let us have a range report after a couple hundred rounds.

I recommend purchasing a steal guide rod for your new LC9. The currently plastic guide rod can get eaten up over time plus, a little extra weight at the tip helps with recoil (not much but a little. Go to gallowayprecision.com, they make a great one. Just a suggestion

Thanks for the info on the LC9 trigger and hammer and guide bar upgrades through Galloway Precision. I am going to order the kits right now!
