Which spring kit?

Just purchased a Single Nine and a single Ten. What spring kit would you guys recommend to lighten up the trigger pull?

An action job before springs!
Seriously,, you will benefit greatly by having the action cleaned up more than just swapping out springs.

With a .22, a lighter spring usually contributes to more misfires.... The rimfire round requires a pretty stout strike to ignite.

What contender said! I used to go the simple spring change method and it lightens things but it's MUCH nicer being smoooooooth.

Another vote for trigger spring only. I left the mainspring stock. After several hundred rounds (or dry fires) the action will smooth up even more.

On my newer production Blackhawk I broke it down and checked each part for obvious burrs and very gently removed them with a jewelers file. I spent half an hour first making sure i wasn't monkeying with the critical sharp corners.

Take a Dremel power tool and use the little felt polishing wheel thing and some of the polishing compound from Dremel and polish up the pins,transfer bar,main spring strut,and other moving parts(aren't very many).Then install lighter springs if you want to.I have used the lighter springs for years and have had no issues with failure to fire.Just don't get the lighest springs available.Or you can just clip off a couple of the coils on the main spring and that will lighten it some.You will notice a difference after polishing things.Just don't mess with the hammer or trigger notches.
