What's in a name? Oops...

Hi,

First day of kindergarten, the teacher has all the kids introduce themselves by name. Billy, Susie, John, Janie and the rest of them each stood up and gave their names. Last girl in the room stands up and says "My name is Happy Butt!"

Teacher tries not to look shocked, and asks the girl if that's really the name her parents gave her.

"No, Ma'am," she answers. "They actually named me Gladys, but I think my way sounds nicer!"

For some strange reason, at age 18 or 21 when my mom became a naturalized citizen, she changed her middle name from "Gisela" to "Gladys".
