what to do?

I have a friend who wants to trade me a security six 1975 mfg date with box for my Beretta 92. The problem is this is my only 9mm its just a shooter not for defense. What do you guy's think I should do?

I have 18 weelguns but no security six. My only hold back is its my only 9 and I like it just as a plinking round but I figure I can always get another one day. They don't make security six's anymore and around here they are hard to come by.

We can all speculate on what we would do or what we think you should do but I will tell you what I DID do in a similiar situation. A few months back I swapped a Glock 22 w/box straight across for a very good P&R blued 4" S&W 19. They make Glock 22s (and Beretta 92s) every day of the week and every gun store and bigger gun show table has one or twelve for sale. They are not making P&R S&W 19s (or Ruger Security Sixes) anymore, and I would bet good money they never will again.
