What to do with a RSSM?

I bought a Single Six model RSSM with a 6.5 inch barrel in 1975. It is an old 3 screw from 1968 I believe. I bought it from someone I worked with who didn't like the trigger. He told me he had not shot a box of 22s with it. I have had it in the bottom of my safe since then. I have both cylinders, one in the box it came with and the other in the red bag. I also have the box the pistol came with.
My question is what should I do with the pistol? Shoot it, sell it, or put it back into the safe?

Do what you want to with it! Personally, I don't own one I wont shoot.

LET ME HELP YOU OUT; there is a way you can tell if it is to be shot. Look down the BBl to see if it is rifled. Then look at the standing breech for a firing pin oriface, and finally look right in front ofthe hammer to see if by chance they installed a firing pin. IF by chance all of the stuff is present I can guarentee you it was meant to be shot until the hinges of hades freeze over.

Well, depending upon a few things, it could be worth a bit of $$.
Condition, serial number, (for the numbers guys,) condition, exact model variation, condition, completeness of package, condition.
Ok, As you see, condition plays a big part of things. To a collector, a minty condition, boxed & complete package is worth more than a shooter grade.
But if it shows wear, and you wish to enjoy it, by all means, shoot it.
