I have never seen a late 90's ruger M77 Mark II in 30-06 with the black foreend tip'd stock, is this an ultralight?

Guy is not sure how long the barrel is and he didnt advertise it as a Ultralight. Does that look like a 20" or 22" barrel to you? The black forend tip is what threw me off, never seen a Mark II with the black tip.

The Mark II RL Ultralights have the black forend tip. From the looks of the barrel contour & breech profile, it looks as if it's 22" long. It's possible someone purchased the ultralight stock, opened up the barrel channel & installed it on a M77R.

Are you sure the stock is original? I put a RL stock on my 30/06 tang safety. It really changed the feel and handling. It gave it a real mountain rifle feel. Ruger did make some circassian stocked Mk II's with black forend tips. They were nice rifles, but I don't know the dates of production or serial number range. But, to me this does not look like one of them.
