What is Santa Doing?

There was a post either here or on the other forum I'm on about a bill board somewhere out west that had Santa holding an AR-15 or such and the up roar it caused....
So, yesterday I got an email from Faxon Firearms ... with their 'Christmas Specials" and below is the picture in with the email. I'm trying to figure out if Santa is using a duck call or smoking a cigar.... if it is a duck call what in the world is he doing holding a pistol?
