We used to leave butter on top the microwave, but that was when more of us used it up faster.I'm with ya but for the butter. There will be some softened goodness on my countertop.
Hard to make a PB sandy with hard butter.
They come in packages of 4 or 5 for a reason!I certainly do. I won’t be going head to head with Joey Chestnut, but I can hold my own.
Ketchup is made in a factory....factories are fine for making paint but for me not my food!

I kinda do the same but with a mild hot sauce like Texas Pete's or CholulaEver try it on mac and cheese? Got my kids hooked on it too the point when they were little and ordered mac and cheese in a restaurant, they ordered a bottle of ketchup also. I still have it about half a dozen times a year. Put some on half the bowl and stir a little, Not too much! That way you can have a bite of plain mac and cheese, a bite with a little zing, and then a bite of sweetened tomatoey goodness.
Funny thing is I really do not care for tomato juice.
My wife, a Yankee, puts ketchup on her eggs. Disgusting. Frank's Red Hot for me.I do have to say the first time I saw someone put some on scrambled eggs I got a little nauseous.
I had heard a rumor that Yankees liked to do this but could not even fathom that it could be true....

That's about right...almost no industrial foods in this household except emergency supplies....I can most of what I want in cans. I make sausage from mostly wild game. Pasta, sometimes when I go to my sister's house. It's tough being family farm raised...I just eat foood that I recognize...So? No sausage? Canned goods? Pasta?
Sugar and salt are factory operations as well as breadKetchup is made in a factory....factories are fine for making paint but for me not my food!
I have made my own Ketchup from scratch a few times. Main ingredient is tomato paste. I just pull up some "homemade ketchup" recipes on the internet and leave out the sugar. Without sugar, Ketchup tastes like ketchup did 50 years ago.Ketchup is rather easy to DIY.
Hard to find peanutbutter with just peanut oil, the vast majority have soy or rapeseed ("canola") oil.I have made my own Ketchup from scratch a few times. Main ingredient is tomato paste. Like everything else, food processors incrementally added sugar to just about everything.
When I was a kid back in the fifties, peanut butter didn't have sugar in it. Nowadays I can't find peanut butter that doesn't contain sugar.... so I just don't eat it.
No wonder everyone is so fat these days. Sugar screws up your metabolism.
That about the only thing I like it on. 2 generation s eat it on Mac &cheese here.Ever try it on mac and cheese? Mechanically processed sugar cane. Processed in a factory.what sugar

Salt is dug up in a mine, ground up, washed, dried, and then ground up some more in a factory.
No No, that is the salt you like, not what i get.Mechanically processed sugar cane. Processed in a factory.

somehow you mistake packaging one ingredient for manufacturing using multiple ingredients...and why would you even want to try and troll me? Your trolling will get a response but that's about it.Unless you're collecting it yourself, it's being packaged in a factory.
Sounds like a rather sad existence. Never having a Snickers or a Klondike. Scraping rocks to get salt. Spending all your time hunting and gathering. Grinding your grain into flour. No free time to do things like participate in internet fora.
Not just packaging, processing. Processing is done in a factory. Heck, packaging is done in a factory and you asserted that you eat nothing that comes from a factory.somehow you mistake packaging one ingredient for manufacturing using multiple ingredients
