If you have read any of my previous posts about SNOW and our lack of same, & my new snow plow for my 4 wheeler being an insurance policy against any snow, it all went out the window as of yesterday noon till this AM. I just finished plowing/shoveling 12" of that white crap.
The plow worked great but it was still snowing so I got a little wet.
Will dry out and go finish cleaning up the drive/parking area after lunch.
At least it was'nt as bad as back East.

After shoveling snow for a couple blizzards at my new house, I bought a snow blower. Of course the next year it hardly snowed. I thought this year I wouldn't have to get it out, but used it this past Sunday. More snow forecasted this weekend, so I got plenty of gas to be ready.

You know we are really snow starved out here in the West when we need some pics just to see what it looks like. :)

My Wife and I are on our way to Az. with our motorhome. Right now we are sitting at a nice RV Park in OKC watching it snow. Took the car out to get some things and the roads are very slippery and almost a white out right now. There is probably two or three inches of snow on the ground already and still coming down. Have not seen one snow plow.

Sure isn't Az.

Those bolts sticking out of the wheels look like they are just waiting for a nice tender shin to come along.

I bet a pair of real tire chains on that rig would let it go just about anywhere.

Yeah, I keep thinking I need to put some pieces of hose on those bolts. It does go most anywhere. Firestone 8ply, 110lb in each wheel, 240lb hanging off the back, and my 400lb holding the seat down. Plus the tractor weighs over 600lb. It could use cast iron wheel weights on the front end. Drifts 3ft deep that are solid have to be picked apart. But usual snow, wet or dry, is not problem at all. :D

And the wind isn't much bother for you. God, I like to froze to death helping the old folks out around here last winter. Seemed like when it stopped snowing the winds roared 30mph or better and temps plummeted. (knock on wood) This year hasn't been as bad so far.

He's loaded up! Weights on the wheels and on back. He won't need any chains. ;)

Yea,
We got 8" last week, the most we've had at one time in at least 6/7 years and I think there calling for another at least 4" later this week .
I don't mind, I like watching the news and watch these idiot's around here try to drive in this stuff.
I used to drive a snow plow for a living and our supervisors drove 2WD pickup's w/o any extra weight in the bed. None of us ever had a problem.
