Seriously, a good use of WD40 is using it to remove the glue when removing labels from glass or plastic jars. Sometimes a food container is just the right size and shape to be used again for storing some items, but even with the label removed the underlying glue can be hard to get off. A soaked rag with WD40 always does the trick.
