Picked this up in Tulsa. '
March 4th 1954 WBR took time to send a hand signed letter to a small jobber in Zanesville Ohio apologizing/explaining why Ruger was slow in shipping the new Single Sixes. Pretty cool. Wonder how many of these he sent out?
Now all I need to do is find a type 1 that will letter to Niele Hardware Company!!! Should be easy.....

Great marketing.
Old school by todays standards but common then.

Well that's just neat,,,

I'm so glad I'm a accumulator
,,,, not a collector.

You guys figure out new ways to stay sick & afflicted…😜 Now if you could just figure out which “two”,, by sn#,, were shipped a few weeks later.

I sure do enjoy your stuff!!! thanks for sharing.

Zanesville is just down the road from me a bit, home of the world famous Y bridge. Only bridge you can cross and end up on the same side of the river you started. Looks like that address is just down from the Brewey I like to go to. I couldn't find any history on that hardware store when I did a search on it.🤔🤔

Yeah, I Google Mapped the address, and the building looks kinda deserted in Street View. :(
