warning label

I was passing through the fabric section at Wal-Mart when I noticed some "decorator" burlap fabric in a half-dozen prints. Wasn't sure what it would be used for, but in looking at the cardboard it was wrapped around, I found the following warning label:

Does not meet standard for the flammability of children's clothing

Too bad, I thought the grandkids would look cute in the zebra print.

Some of the concerns with fireproof clothing are the chemicals that make it so. They can in fact be toxic for children. Natural fibers without chemicals seems to be the answer. Burlap would seem to fit the bill but pajamas? :roll: :roll:

I wonder when Carharts will get a toxic warning label on their coats and overalls. In the winter, on horseback, or even on a tractor, I sometimes swipe the coat sleeves across my nose for a wipe. I've been doing it for years. Maybe that's why my nose sometimes gets raw in the winter.
