Just curious, how long have been people waiting for one? I had my guy put one on reserve for me with no idea when he'd get one.

I ordered one within five minutes of the announcement from Ruger. Picked it up last Monday and it is sitting on the desk as I type. Very pleased. It is exactly what I wanted. There are some rough edges around the trigger guard, and underneath the ejector rod housing, and the hammer could be used to grind meat. Other than that, it is tight, accurate, and a definite joy to shoot. This is the .22 Ruger should have made the first time.

No wait if you check out summitgunbroker.

His web site says he bought a bunch of them and they're priced at $549.00. Think he charges $20 FFL to FFL shipping.

hittman, you need to find another dealer, all the ones around here have stocked the sp101 and the ruger sr1911 that you had trouble finding.

The day they were rolled out by Ruger; my dealer called his wholesaler (a Thursday).

My dealer had it in for me the next day (Friday) @ lunchtime...Wootz!

I paid $539.00 + tax

Getting the very first one in Lubbock Texas, on the day after introduction...PRICLESS! :D 8)

If you can't find one I have one left I can sell you for $525 plus $20 shipping. If I didn't have so many other 22's I'd keep this one myself. Looks to be built very nice.
