Even a blind pig finds a chestnut now and then. Stumbled across a KSP-221, SP101 2 1/4” in .22lr on Saturday. This is only the third one I’ve seen since they came out years ago. Don’t know exactly what I will do with it but it pairs nicely with my .38 Special SP101’s from the old days. Any information on the approximate number produced and value would be appreciated. Many thanks,
Best Regards,

Kudos on a great find.

Ruger doesn't release production numbers,, but maybe one of our DA collectors will have an answer as to how many.

Value,, I don't have a clue,, but I know I'd probably over value it if I owned it.

😂. I like how you said that, and I agree 100%.

You don’t see the 6 shot .22 SP-101’s pop up often (almost never). So it’s tough to put a value on one.

Is it worth more than a new one because it’s old and scarce? Or less because it’s only 6 shots?

I bought mine when the new one came out and used the new release as leverage to get a better deal. Mine is the longer one. FWIW.

It’s a really nice example of a great gun. Enjoy it.

I have the 4" full lug version, I love it. Always wanted the 1/2 lug 4" but they are getting very hard to find and way to expensive.
Get yourself a few HKS 22J speed loaders, they work great and make it very fast to reload.
