Void warranty

I recently picked up a lc9.The mag disconnect is not a real big issue for me but if I did decide to remove it would it void the warranty? I'm just afraid I would forget to put it back if I had to send it in.

Someone once posted they forgot to put the mag disconnect back in before sending their SR9 in for repair.

Ruger repaired the original problem AND installed a brand new mag disconnect.

How do you like them apples.They seem to be pretty liberal with helping out people with problems.Maybe because of this policy they don't want to get a bad name as far as cs goes so they bend more.
