"pocket" pistols?!?
That big glow in the dark front sight on my Hellcat has me spoiled in lowlight situations. So that oversized glow in the dark sight would need to be added to any of them. In a fight, front sight kmoore.Over a year ago, I was going to buy the Glock, already had the 48. Gun shop guy said handle the S&W, I did. Also the Glock 42. Came home with the S&W. My handling of the 2 guns in the store was Grip and trigger of S&W was better. Sights, who takes time to use sights in SD. At the range maybe. So, I don't care who has better/worse sights.
Good catch. A P365 should definitely be in the conversation. What no Sig?
The 42 is freaking tiny and light. I have considered replacing my LCP with one.Well, I can't speak to the Ruger or the Smith, but I can say that my 4'11" wife can conceal the 42. When I bought mine, she gave it a try and it immediately became hers. Terrible thing, I had to go and buy another. For comparison she has carried 2" .38 spl revolvers for decades.
"High Grip" many won't notice how well that works until they hold and shoot it.I shoot and carry the BG 2.0, nice pistol, very high grip, with the pinky extension-10 rnd mag, I can get 3 fingers on it.
It still is. My S&W Model 38 is a pocket pistolRemember when the Walther PPK/S was a pocket pistol?
My son always says there is nothing more cool that a woman driving a 4 wheel drive big truck. I say about the same thing about a woman carrying a handgun.Well, I can't speak to the Ruger or the Smith, but I can say that my 4'11" wife can conceal the 42. When I bought mine, she gave it a try and it immediately became hers. Terrible thing, I had to go and buy another. For comparison she has carried 2" .38 spl revolvers for decades.
The LCP MAX is a big .380?You all do realize that all three of the pistols the OP mentioned are "big" .380's None are really suitable for pocket carry.
Hmm, yeah, not sure what that means for the Security 380...The LCP MAX is a big .380?![]()
Yeah, but what’s the weight on that thing? You all do realize that all three of the pistols the OP mentioned are "big" .380's None are really suitable for pocket carry. Plus they all rely on that itty bitty, easily moved lever as a "safety". This .380 is smaller, and narrower and has a positive frame mounted safety. And a grip safety.
