Ruger v Glock v Smith

Well, I can't speak to the Ruger or the Smith, but I can say that my 4'11" wife can conceal the 42. When I bought mine, she gave it a try and it immediately became hers. Terrible thing, I had to go and buy another. For comparison she has carried 2" .38 spl revolvers for decades.

Has the 1968 PPK ban been lifted? Or does that only apply to imports?

Over a year ago, I was going to buy the Glock, already had the 48. Gun shop guy said handle the S&W, I did. Also the Glock 42. Came home with the S&W. My handling of the 2 guns in the store was Grip and trigger of S&W was better. Sights, who takes time to use sights in SD. At the range maybe. So, I don't care who has better/worse sights.

I shoot and carry the BG 2.0, nice pistol, very high grip, with the pinky extension-10 rnd mag, I can get 3 fingers on it.

That big glow in the dark front sight on my Hellcat has me spoiled in lowlight situations. So that oversized glow in the dark sight would need to be added to any of them. In a fight, front sight kmoore.

It’s not a vs thing. It’s a personal preference thing. And how the gun fits you or can be made to fit you.

Glocks are pretty easy to customize sights and trigger. I’ve got an overwatch precision trigger and some XS F8 sights that make my 43 and 43x pretty sweet.

Also got an LCP max which has nice sights for a little .380 and is light and small enough to go everywhere.

The 42 is freaking tiny and light. I have considered replacing my LCP with one.

My 4" M&P Compact (9mm) is a great shooter for me. So is my 4" Shield Plus (9mm). That Shield is one of my preferred carry weapons.

But I also have great fondness for my two CZ 75s - a Compact and a PCR. They are a joy to shoot. I'll carry one of them from time to time. But carrying the S&W with a round chambered/safety on most inspires my confidence.

My son always says there is nothing more cool that a woman driving a 4 wheel drive big truck. I say about the same thing about a woman carrying a handgun. (y)

I have an Sig p290 and am not a fan... hard double action only .... will probably offer it in the classifies here soon.. but as y'all know I am an Sig fanatic... the P238 is a good choice if you like the Single Action Only 1911 style... as for their now in demand P365... there was one made smaller that I was interest in but is hard to find... most are not even close to pocket carry size... but then they all are striker fired which I don't care for... one day I may break down and drink the kool-aid. I have been know to sip on it....

oh and as for the woman... theme... my latest tradition is to give presents to friends on my birthday... good woman friend I gave one of my Ruger's to... 357 mag revolver... can't remember the name now... 4" barrel. She can not rack the slide on a semi.

You all do realize that all three of the pistols the OP mentioned are "big" .380's None are really suitable for pocket carry. Plus they all rely on that itty bitty, easily moved lever as a "safety". This .380 is smaller, and narrower and has a positive frame mounted safety. And a grip safety.

AMT …… worst semi auto I ever owned.
Local pawn show has had a couple of those hanging on the wall for a year or more.
