Vicksburg mi. school trap shooters.

Some of the schools in Mi. are teaching gun safety and have introduced trap shooting as an athletic competition. I live about 10 miles south of Vicksburg Mi. who is fielding a team and I never thought I would live to see the day that gun safety would be taught in schools. There may be hope for America after all......

When I was in high school (class of '71) we had a small bore rifle team, and a range in the school building...in MA!

Memorial High School in Manchester, NH also has a trap team.
"... The Eau Claire Area High School Trap team named Clearwater Explosion is a competitive trap shooting team. Beginners to advanced shooters are invited to participate. Trap begins in late March and runs through mid-June at the Eau Claire Rod and Gun Club. Practices and competitions are on Sunday afternoons and evenings. ..."
One of our local clubs in Merrimack, NH has opened our trap field to the team for practice when their regular place is not available.

All of this is good news for the future of gun ownership in America. The shooting club that I am a member of has also opened our range to practice sessions for these young shooters. Again, I never thought I would see the day.

There is a trap team at my kids school and bunches of teams from surrounding schools to compete against.
