Well I just brouht home one of the ss vaqueros in 44spl 3-3/4 barrel.
I have been thinking of some minor modifications one is action job
then bisley hammer and satin finish via scotchbrite and custom grips
thoughts on this or should I leave it alone? (collectability?) oh and it is a good shooter

Well, it's your gun,, and since you are shooting it,, why not fix it the way you want it. An action job is always a good thing if done right. Custom stocks help shootability AND looks most of the time. The Bisley hammer can easily be returned to factory specs,, but the polish job would take away from resale value down the road to someone who wanted it "like original" in the finish dept.

thank you contender I have just added the Bisley hammer and I am working on some grips, your observation on the finish is right on I think I will leave it as is finish wise and let it acumulate some character
