vaquero 32-20??

some years ago i bought a 4 5/8" vaquero in 32-20 with a 32 mag extra cylinder. it was a limited run through davidsons, i think. around 500 made.
I've shot less than a box thru it, it looks like new.
i'm wondering what it would be worth. i want to get another stainless blackhawk 357/9mm, so the vaquero has to go.
i've only seen one listed for sale recently. it was bid up to $1000, but didn't meet the reserve. i would have sold mine in a heartbeat for 1000 bucks!!!
what would a realistic price be?

Tom, they only made around 285 of them. A yeaar ago they were going for $700. Condition is everything and that 32-20 cyl. is in demand.
Start high and go from there. Good luck. Eric

RENE price guide shows them at $695, and that would be in "collector condition" with box and papers, etc.

thanks! it's really a great gun. i had planned to shoot 32-20 in CAS but could never find a 1892 winchester in 32-20 that i could afford.
i thought i'd have another stainless blackhawk done in 357/9mm and use a rossi 1892 replica in 357 for competition.
i've also bought a 45colt for mounted shoots (hard to find any other loads for that.
i have someone that wants the vaquero and the extra ammo i have for 700, so that seems fair.

I've seen 3 of the .32-20 Birdsheads in SS recently, for sale quite a while. One gun shop near me has two and I see one sitting and sitting at a 'Lots of Rugers' dealer at gun shows for a year( I think he has more) . They are all right around 1/2 of that $1,000 but no .32 extra cyl. They never seem to have the interest the .45's had .

Tommyboy I sold the two 32HR cylinders for $200 and NO I add the Ruger birdshead .

DC ... I don't think Ruger ever made birdshead in 32-20 , they made a bunch in 32Hr on single-six frame and no 32-20 cylinder offered because the frame window is too short . Please PM me the Gun shop infor on the 32-20 , I want another pair for a new project and the price sound good to me .
