In the past I have been skeptical on this subject, and I don't necessarily have a lot of confidence in video interviews like this one.

That said, I took the time to watch this, and I have to say it gave me some things to consider. I'm not exactly sold, but . . . I'm thinking. I'd recommend it, because you just never know what you don't know.

I have been a nurse for 50 years. As you wander old cemetery’s you notice a lot of children’s headstones that were taken by diphtheria, whooping cough, and tetanus. Who here has scene these diseases? I have seen one case of diphtheria in Virginia in the Mid 1979’s. An unvaccinated individual. In 2012 I saw a case of whooping cough in an child in Alaska that only had one of the three doses of vaccine. I saw tetanus in the 1970’s. I NEVER wish to see that again. An unvaccinated adult that was spreading manure on his yard in flip flops somehow got a scrape on his leg allowing the bacteria into his body. He died an HORRIBLE death! I have NEVER seen a child die from measles, mumps, or rubella. OTOH I have seen children who had birth defects secondary to their mothers having measles while pregnant. When I was a child there were 9 vaccine doses. Now there are 16 vaccines with 72 doses. What could go wrong? A lot, and there is NO SAFETY TESTING DONE anymore because of the Vaccine Act that was passed under Ronald Reagan. The FDA, CDC are OWNED by large pharmaceutical companies. REAL scientific studies aren’t done with the rigorous attention to detail that used to occur at the beginning. Sad how much CORRUPTION that America finds ourself in, and we think Mexico is bad? It is time for serious scientific studies with consequences!

Having seen the results of polio on my aunt here's my take. If you don't want to vaccinate your kid or yourself that's fine. But don't expose me or my kids and grandkids to yours. Go off and live in a cave somewhere. Vaccinations aren't 100%. I do not want anyone exposing us to something because of your stupidity.

If you do the research, the quantity of vaccinations required and the ages that they are required have become dangerous. Autism is something that didn’t exist when we were young, notice there are no 60-70 year old autistic folks...that alone should make you question the safety of vaccines now a days.

Also, Sudden Infant Death syndrome...most likely a “side effect” of a vaccine....if vaccines are so safe, why did the government grant total immunity to vaccine companies? Vaccines have become big business and the drug companies are the largest donors to the politicians....follow the money is the old saying....it totally applies here.

And what exactly are YOU being exposed to? I remember growing up and purposely being send to friend’s houses to get chicken pox, mumps and measles...they are NOT deadly diseases...but now they are mandatory vaccines that put billions of dollars a year into the coffers of the pharmaceutical companies who in turn give it to the politicians...so what if one of the side effects of the vaccine is DEATH!!!

Read the ingredients of the vaccines....and then read independent information regarding the heavy metals being put into very young children’s bodies...the toxicity is too much for some kids to handle...a perfect example of the “CURE” being worse than the disease, just like what they are doing to our country RIGHT NOW!

Exactly right. No one denies some vaccines may be more helpful than harmful, but the current vaccine regimen is absurdly causing far more damage than they are doing good. When a child is required by law to have 72 shots before the age of 18 and many when an infant and we know they are causes massive disease and mental problems I hope President Trump follows through on his plans to put a stop to the current vaccine nonsense.

Growing up with a Father in the Navy and living on Navy bases also resulted in me getting scores of vaccines; NOT TO MENTION being in the Army and as a civilian making a trip to Thailand and making sure I got vaccinated for everything you can think of. Should I mention getting BOTH Pneumonia vaccinations as suggested by my Primary Care at the VA?

Aint got a flu shot since midway through my Army days (1967) and aint ever had the flu since.

People are exposed to thousands of chemicals today that were not present 100 years ago. The list of proven harmful chemicals, ones that have been banned and those that are suspected of harming people is very long. The autism conspiracies regarding vaccines has been disproved many times. But exposure to chemicals has not been eliminated. Let me just name a few diseases caused by chemical and heavy metal exposure: allergies, asthma, eczema, cancer, attention deficit disorder, autism, learning difficulties, infertility, depression, chronic fatigue, chemical sensitivities, heart disease, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, thyroid disease, inflammatory bowel.There are many many websites and studies that support chemical exposure as a serious health problem. I think you and the OP are barking up the wrong tree and doing a disservice by suggesting vaccines are dangerous for most people. I can't wait to get my pneumonia, flu and hopefully a covid-19 vaccine before the end of next year.

Thanks for making my point, those chemicals and heavy metals are ingredients in most vaccines....and we have been exposed to chemicals and other things I.e. asbestos, herbicides, bug killers, etc. for years before we realized they were dangerous and have restricted or eliminated there use....but you still haven’t explained why there is a DIRECT causal relationship between autism and the increase of mandated vaccinations.(which include massive amounts (for an infant) of these dangerous chemicals).

And by the way, most of those so-called studies that supposedly disprove any link between vaccines and autism, etc are FUNDED by the pharmaceutical companies...look it up!!

This is a pretty polarizing topic. You seem to have two camps. Those like me that believe in the benefits of vaccinations, and those that believe it's being forced on us by the devil's spawn.

Regardless of where your sympathies lie one thing we can all agree with is that if you are un-vaccinated you don't have the right to endanger others. As has been stated, no vaccine is 100% effective. You also don't have the right to complain should you develop one of the diseases that a vaccination could have prevented.

Since I'm recovering from some sort of virus (they never tested me as I "didn't meet the criteria") I can assure you that if a vaccination had been available I'd have been the first in line.

I think that some folks here need to read up on what a "direct causal link" means. All the evidence presented against vaccination is of a weak statistical nature; indeed, to do the experiments that would establish a direct causal link would be unethical.

That said, there are direct causal links for vaccinations preventing the spread of illness.
