I have a fella that wants to trade me a 4" blued GP100, it's been carried and has some bluing gone from around the muzzle.

He wants to trade for my NIB Henry 22 mag and 3 boxes of shells.

Does anyone have a ball park estimate of what the GP is worth?

For a moment, forget the whole dollar for dollar thing and think with the head and heart instead of the wallet. How much desire is there for the Henry? If enough, having it be a dollar:dollar should;t matter as much as "boy I'd really like to have that" should.

There's no attachment to the Henry, I'm into it for a fair price and got it to do some trading, don't need another pistol to feed either, but it does feel good in the hand and would make a good truck gun.

Look at the new prices for each gun. Pretty sure it is a good trade. Depends on what your needs are.

The GP will always be easier to sell. .22 mag rifles have a limited market, everybody can always use another .357
