Urban camo???

Looks like someone wanted to spiff up a well-used police pistol. There's lots of videos on Youtube showing ow to apply such finishes. And "urban" just means it doesn't have much color, just "shades of gray."

urban camo is really "brick " patterns of various styles, types of bricks, found in the inner city, on clothing, shirts ,jackets, so when you stand up ,against any brick wall, you blend in and disappear, we made some many years ago ,back in the early 70's but no one took us up on our idea, oh well, try , try again.....
my plan and idea , went no where ( ha ha ,bad marketing........) 8)

Do they have one with a dog peeing on a fire hydrant? To me, this looks more like "ice fishing camo." And what about "suburban camo?" does that look like a well-maintained lawn?

"Our new S&W M&P .40 is also available in Suburban Zoysia Camo."

IF the camo pattern makes it so it doesn't look like a gun, do you need an AOW stamp for it?

now for my opinion of urban camo....it should be painted to look like the waistband of boxers.

"Urban camo" used to be the old Woodland pattern in black, white, and shades of gray.

I'd think real urban camo would be jeans and a T-shirt, or whatever everyone else seems to be wearing in your hood.

Could be a good start point for someone that thinks they have mastered the art of custom paint jobs on guns. Get a beater gun at a decent price and give it a go. Mess it up and your not out that much money.....

What's an AOW stamp?

I bought one of those police turn ins from Buds a few months ago. It was plain black but looks hardly fired with no holster wear. I got the M&P .45. After a bit of trigger work it's a fine pistol with tritium night sights, three magazines, two grip adjusters, a bargain at $399

There have been vatious "urban" camo patterns over the years. The vastly oversimplifed concept to break up shapes, and blend into alleyways and vacent lots. As in to try to not be seen at all instruments being that large cities don't usually consist of jungles, foforrests, or sand dunes, that primarily leaves blending into shadows or building materials. Hence lots of greys, maybe some very dark blue.

Cynical take is marketed to big city LE tactical teams who want a sporty looking "camo" uniform, but realize that Woodland in a big city is silly. None of them met with commercial sucuess.

Is such a thing even possable ? A grey or dark blue would help for sneaking in dark alleys. In the light urban or dense suburban environments, the environs are so diverse with colors and textures anything will stand out 3/4 of the time.

Now the other concept of Urban Camo is instead apear as a human, but as a human that blends with the other humans in a particular area.
