UPS working on MLK day?

My new Redhawk is on the way back from the factory after they replaced the ill-fitting stocks.
They are due at my home on Mon. MLK day. I need to have someone home to sign for it.
Is UPS working that day?

Good, I'm hoping a part (not gun) that I ordered will come on Monday for a job on Tuesday.

UPS truck got here just before dark last evening. Regular driver had some extra deliveries dropped on him and looked totally pooped out. I'm often his last stop and usually have a short chat about weather, roads, and such but not last night. His only comment was about the added deliveries and the nasty roads and gone.

UPS and FedEx, et al...As busy as they are, and as full of packages as their facilities and trucks always are, I don't think they could well handle an extra day off. They'd have to store the packages in the parking lot, and then make double deliveries the next day.

What an absolute gold mine they've made for themselves.

Bad enough they worked on MLK but to have worked on Robert E Lee day. Now that's a down right shame. :lol: :lol:

USPS delivers packages on MLK day; I had ordered some COQ10 on Amazon and the USPS had it in my mail box on Monday.

M.L.K day might be a Federal Holiday, although it's really doesn't get observed like most Federal holidays do.
I personally don't observe it but allot of others do.
