Bear in mind that I live in Memphis, an urban setting and not on the fringe of town, either.
As I was driving home from some errands this morning, I met a funeral procession of some length. The casket was being borne by a horse drawn wagon.
The wagon was made up much like a buckboard, but was painted white with black trim and did bear a placard with the logo of the funeral home. And the casket was not draped with a flag as with military honors.
