Just got in and loaded some 385gr bullets from ACMEBULLETS. I used 17gr of Unique from my TC Encore. Nice!
Accurate and more than enough for deer without busting me up. 100 bullets with shipping was bout $36.
Check them out, quality bullets and cheep.
Didn't chrony my loads but manual says 1200-1300 fps as best as I remember. No leading and hard hitting with only 17gr of powder.

I may have to try your load. I have been loading 16 gr of trail boss for about the same fps.

Oregon Trail and T & B bullets have free shipping, and make a good bullet. And King Shooting Supply has a nice 405gr. bullet, you can get them off GB for $29.95 shipped or they're cheaper on the web page but you have to order 250ct.

I have some 405 gr. loaded over 14 gr. of Unique. Nice easy shooter.
