Has anybody checked to see if the brass gripframes that sold recently on ebay fit the mid-framed New Models? They are slightly undersized for my large framed guns but they seem to fit my Old Model .357's fine. My only mid-framed New Model is a Gold Engraved 50th Anniversary Blackhawk and I don't want to take it apart. I think these gripframes would look really nice on the New Vaqueros and New Model Flat Tops.

Also, this is my 500th post and I would like to thank this forum for the wholesome fun and knowledge it has provided for me. So I am going to give away one of these brass gripframes. I'll draw a name September 23 from the people who respond to this post. You can just post "add me" or whatever if you want.

Thanks Again everyone. :)

Well let me be the first to wish you Happy Birthday and say that you've given me an idea for a dual cylinder .45 mid frame and I wasn't considering buying one until now. It's all your fault ya know.

Well, Happy Birthday!

I wonder if one of those would fit on a single six 38 special conversion... You know, the one that's been kicking around in my mind for a bit!

BlackEagle, Please "Add me". Also, do take that Anniversary Model apart, clean out the manufacturing goo, and fit an extended hammer plunger so that the cylinder will not get ringed.

This is my 50th .44 with the no cylinder ring fix plus a few other things:

Add me, and happy birthday. I tried to get one of those grip frames, but failed miserably. Thanks for another chance.

Thanks for your support of the Ruger Forum & have a happy birthday. Please add my name to the hat. Thanks.

Happy Birthday-
Please put me in. Thank you.
As a side note my bride to be has a birthday on the 28th. She has her gift ordered. One of the new Sp 101 22's.
She has a idea what is coming so she is starting to figure me out. Our first X-mas she recieved a MK111.

Happy birthday! No need to add me. Have plenty of brass here unused as it is. Not wanting to be greedy. :)

I will add a beleted "Happy Birthday" myself, and since I do not have ANY stash of brass gripframes, (wishing I did) I'll ask that you add me to the long list as well!

500 posts, congratulations on the milestone and Happy Birthday as well.

I had kinda looked at brass grip frames on eBay but was having a bit of a time convincing the wife. Maybe my luck will change! Please add me as well.
