Thanks to a fellow forum member, I picked up a shorty bull barreled MkII 22/45 upper to compliment my KMK-678G. It took a little fitting to remove the 22/45 "dimple", but I think the results are pretty sweet.

Down the road I think I'll give it a pair of wood grips and perhaps a fiber optic front sight. It'll be fun to shoot this one without hefting a giant barrel around!

OH....MY HANDS are shakin' and my knees are weak !!! Now that is one cool looking MKII pistol. I've never seen one quite like having never seen a heavy BBL fixed sight MKII 22 pistol. I'M IMPRESSED !!

That my Friend is as sweet as it can be !!!!! Reach out to 41mag for your wood grips, he did a pair for me in Hackberry that turned out great looking. He is a super guy and makes some nice grips for the Mark's folks. How much to build me one just like that ?????

I never thought of using the fixed sights from a P45GCMKIII on a P4 upper until I saw this one in the Classifieds section. It should make a real good shooter and it certainly has a look of it's own. Good job.

Thanks, HSGuy. I was wondering where those sights came from. I didn't know they were factory sights. I couldn't find them anywhere.

Lol - this is one Frankenstein gun!

nice gun, like the finished look and sights,,,but I question did you photoshop the serial number "away"??? (hopefully) cause it ain't where it's "supposed" to be.......hate to see anyone get in any legal hassles.....

Ha - yeah it's photoshopped. I'm still not sure of the necessity of doing that to gun pics, but these days it's better to be safe than sorry.

Very cool. I love the sights on that pistol. Would you mind sharing how you got them and who from?
I see that they are for a P45GCMKIII pistol but when I checked the ShopRuger site and didn't find them. :(

They're there and on sale this weekend, $7.31 for the front and $6.75 for the rear.

Thanks Highstandardguy. :D

I was looking in the wrong place on the site. I should have checked under Pistol Parts.
