Except for that silly bolt that just sits there, right in the way... ;)... And the 10/22s are bored through now so it doesn't help cleaning either.

A double stack semi-auto pistol that is better quality than the SR22 is what i hope to see Ruger release. The SR22 always felt cheap and overpriced to me.
The patent has been at least submitted on the MK4 platform. I don't remember if it is granted yet.
Yep, spring loaded latch and a 1/4 turn gets the bolt out of the way of cleaning the barrel.Takedown is easier to remove the bolt?
Which one filed for bankruptcy? My theory is a little different. One of the main firearm distributors filed for bankruptcy recently. It's quite likely that Ruger had to move inventory to their other distributors and created a glut. So Ruger probably stopped production on all but their most popular and fastest selling models.
Once the glut has been depleted, production will ramp up again with a mix of new models and better selling older models.
That's my guess anyway.

I doubt that Big Rock was one of ruger's biggest distributors. I don't think they were anybody's biggest distributor.Saw this on the news yesterday (2/4/26), looks like Big Rock Sports, who was likely one of Ruger's top distributors has filed for bankruptcy in the US and Canada. Not certain how with will impact the stock price and Ruger's profitability this quarter or for the future, and how it will impact shareholders votes related to Beretta's attempts to get a seat on the Ruger Board of Directors. But not good for the industry overall.

AAh, I should have read the post before yours. LolI have no idea as to the size, but I know of no other distributors that have filed for bankruptcy![]()
I would agree if you’re speaking only of rimfire. Overall, IMHO I would have to say the Ruger RXM would be also VERY interesting.
