Last week I was able to buy a pair of 5.5" Stainless Ruger Old Army revolvers and a pair of conversion cylinders to go with them. One of the guns is unfired and the othe other was shot maybe 24 times. They are really nice. :mrgreen:
Today, another friend called wanting to sell a gun to help pay down his credit card bill. I have bought at least a half-dozen guns from this same guy in the last few years to include a Redhawk 4" 44Mag, a model 18 S&W, two model 14's (6" & 8-3/8"), a model 25-2, and a model 27 5". He has nice stuff that I like. He offered his S&W 696 3" bbl. I could not pass it up. I am glad I had the money in my account to pony up the cash for this one. I have wanted one of these since the early 90's and finally have it. I almost passed since Ruger is bringing out the GP100 in 44 SPL but I can get one of those later ( like next month :wink: ).
I am a lucky and blessed man, for sure.
