I have seen the Cutlery Corner Knife show, selling 200 knives for like 220 dollars
how good can they be, or can ya sell em and make a profit ??

There's a SUCKER born every minute; By then 200 knives for $220, then take them to Gun shows and sell them for $ 4.00 or $5.00 each; WHO HOOO, better than selling star trek figurines.

I have been that sucker, twice.

Sold the wall-hanger pieces like the bowies and swords quickly, and recouped my expenses. These wall-hanger and fantasy pieces sell easily. Then I sold the junk knives for a dollar or two apiece, or even gave them away. And don't be fooled by the quality of these knives. They are junk! In the mill that I have worked in for nearly four decades, the guys really like throw-away knives to use at work. Beats the heck out of losing or spoiling a forty-dollar knife.

Long after these sets were paid for, I still have these knives scattered around.

Did I mention these knives are junk?

WAYNO.

mmmm.
maybe I could sell Star Trek Knives !!! hehehehehhe

sadly NO gun shows here ...

I call these beer can knives. And not because you can use them for opening beer cans but because the steel used resembles the steel used for the old style beer cans before aluminum and poptops. Some of y'all old farts will remember those.

Those guys on tv could sell anything and make you think you got a really good deal. "...but wait, we'll throw in this bone handled folder with every purchase." :D :D

but wait, there's more ...if you buy this package, will will add a $500 knife free..
yep a 2,500 value deal all for 129 bucks ..

Oregon State surplus always has a bucket or 2 full of similar, taken from various felons & airport transients.

Amazing how much attention to appearances some can be fabricated to resemble a real knife at mere pennies on the $ yet still not be worth the effort to even hold it up to look at in the sunlight.

I used to see some kind of knife-selling show on TV every so often about ten years ago. Wonder if it's the same people? No matter what they were selling, it was always "...the fannest navs on the morketplace to-day!"

It was also hilarious to watch them sell the Japanese samurai sets and throw out terms like "katana" and "wakasashi" like they'd been using them all their lives....

Flea markets and swap meets the standard sized knives sell for $5.00 each very easily - the smaller ones - $3.00 each

Have sold over 2,000 knives so far
I don't sell during the summer heat here in AZ

Snake45, probably the same guys, as I heard the one guy saying he's been selling the knives on tv for like 20 years, Frost is the company, Cutlery Corner Network is the name they use ..

Xsales , guess if you pay a dollar apiece and sell em for 3 - 6 bucks ..

is the shipping & Handling a rip-off ??

I have never bought direct from them (Cutlery Corner) but have seen their TV spots
I have had several people who did, couldn't sell them themselves, sold them to me, and I SOLD THEM - go figure
To the sellers, I have paid less then $1.00 each

$3.00-$5.00 is my usual return on the standard folders, MORE on the larger ones

The Shipping isn't real bad in my opinion if you figure how many units you are getting
If you pay $25.00 to ship 200 knives you cost basis is raised 12 cents per knife
Not a big deal for me

I would not hesitate to buy these direct if I had too

As others have said they are NOT BUCK quality but they are a decent knife that no one cares if they lose it, break it etc...
Not everyone wants or can afford a $40.00-$200.00 and UP... knife
However, MANY WILL think nothing of dropping $3.00-$5.00 just as they walk by

They have been a very easy sell for me

Yes, and I don't really mean to be demeaning, but the reality is you are just selling Chinese crap......

The U.S. sends Steel to China
China makes the blades out of our U.S. Steel

Plastic/Rubber/Polymer is a World Wide used product

AM not defending any Countries products but Chinese crap, U.S. crap
It all evens out

Selling these "Home Shopping Network" knives was how I started really making money, entrepreneuring, if you would, while I was still in high school. I also had a job at Wal-Mart as a cashier. Gotta have a way to make money somehow when momma is sick and daddy is in school and starting his own business.

Lol, True. But it did get me by. Lol. I did think about doing it again for a little extra cash flow on the side.

If my buddy had not recently sold his gun store, might have tried some of these knives,
sell em cheap and make a few $$

I saw a ad of theirs selling 155 knives, when I added up the amount it was 122, seems they count EACH piece of the kitchen set separately as they do on the steak knife set...
