For the most part, Rock n Roll left me by the late 1960's, yet there has been a few new R&R songs all along that appealed to me. The period of the late 60's is where I started to diversify in my music tastes going to Gospel, Country and all the way to Classical and now merging into Celtic (Irish and Scotts). Among the songs listed so far probably my favorites were Boogie Woogie Choo Choo Train (a song I had completely forgotten about) and La Grange. ZZ Top always grabs my attention!

As has been mentioned in this thread, In the still of the night, is one that I have literally blown a speaker with. Probably my favorite "break" of all.
Driving song? one I can't drive to, or if I do, I have to careful with is, Whole lotta Rosie. Been known to catch myself doing 85 MPH & accelerating while cranking up that one. But... I'm older now, & no longer act that way. :wink: 8) :mrgreen:

As an aside, when I played for Grand Bon Rien (Pittsburgh's Cajun Band - Google it), I translated BMR into Cajun french, and we performed it as a Cajun two step dance tune/song.
